Super Hexagon for Android hits Google Play

Super Hexagon for Android hits Google Play

This is the first time I’ve posted an article after midnight on site, but there’s a good reason for this one. Super Hexagon for Android was released this evening, and after spending only a few minutes with the game I can only say…Wow.Super Hexagon for Android

Super Hexagon doesn’t have a plot, jaw dropping graphics or any unlockable characters. It’s a game about you, and a Hexagon. You take control of a small triangle cursor of sorts and you can move it left or right by touching that side of the screen. When the level starts you’ll have shapes coming at you that slowly start to form a hexagon. In a nutshell, your job is to try and move into the gaps of the spinning hexagon and not hit a wall. Super Hexagon for Android is a very unforgiving game and the lowest difficulty setting is hard if that tells you anything. Over time you’ll come to hate that Super Hexagon, it only took me around 10 minutes. You can see my best achievement in the screenshot above and that took around 20 minutes with countless crashes and lots of cursing.

Super Hexagon for Android isn’t a game for the faint of heart. It’s truly a blast to play, but it’s going to frustrate the hell out of you at the same time. It’s one of the most frustrating games I’ve ever played in my entire life, and I have played a lot of damn games. That being said, it’s also one of the most addictive games I’ve ever picked up and it just keeps you coming back for more. If you think you’re “good” at games try this sucker out, and pick it up quick as its on sale for a limited time. You can snag Terry Cavanaugh’s Super Hexagon for $ 0.99 on Google Play.
