One of the first things people do when they get a new Android device is change their ringtone and there are hundreds of Android apps for that. Vybe Custom Vibrations is the first app we’ve come across that lets you change the vibration pattern of phone calls, and it can also handle texts.
Sometimes you have to keep your phone on silent, but it’s not always convenient to pull out your phone every time you feel it vibrate. This is where an app like Vybe Custom Vibrations can come in handy as it allows you to create short custom vibration alerts that can be set for phone calls, texts, and individual contacts. The interface is slick and easy to use as well; you simply have to hit the record button and tap the big button in the middle of the screen to create a vibration pattern. There are a few other buttons on-screen that let you set a pattern to a contact or browse saved patterns, but it’s pretty barebones which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
