Dead Yourself is a photo manipulation app that works magic on your face until you look like a zombie from the show. The setup is pretty standard as you simply need to take a picture of your face before hitting the editing mode. This is where the magic happens and there’s a surprising amount of options to choose from including zombie eyes, mouths, backdrops, and props. Currently there are around 34 different facial effects (eyes & mouth) to go along with 21 backdrops and props. There’s quite the selection and everything is easily adjustable including the props and backdrops.
As a huge Walking Dead fan I was a little scared to try this one out because I didn’t want it to suck. Luckily, it doesn’t and it’s one of the better photo manipulation apps we’ve come across. There’s a slew of options, everything can be adjusted, and more items are added to the app every Sunday for each new episode. There are some recognizable things from the show including Daryl’s ear necklace, but Carl’s sheriffs hat is nowhere to be found.
